In 2011, Josh Ginsberg, Adam Beaugh, and Jim Hornthal started Zignal Labs to help customers instantly see conversations and stories taking place across all media. Conceived as a tool for political campaigns accustomed to media “war rooms,” other industries quickly took notice of how they could benefit from real-time data and analytics.
Adam’s creativity, technological knowledge and sound intuitive thinking are the driving force behind Zignal Labs product offering. As a leading web developer and social/digital media strategist, he has led many high profile technology campaigns from the ground up. Beaugh’s career has spanned transforming the website for the Governor of Texas to serving as the Director of Digital Communications for Jackson Family Wines.
Chris serves as Zignal’s CFO, managing the financial strategy of the company along with the accounting, legal, facilities and IT functions. During his 20+ years as a CFO, Chris has grown the internal operations for several successful enterprise software and venture-backed SaaS companies such as GuideSpark, InQuira, Comergent, Connectify and NetGravity. Chris began his career as a CPA after graduating from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
Jon brings more than 15 years of experience in engineering leadership. Prior to joining Zignal Labs, he managed technical strategy and execution for Set Media (Epsilon/ADS), using machine learning and classification to contextually target video advertising. Jon started his career in PDX after graduating from Reed College with a degree in physics.
As CMO, David oversees Zignal’s marketing function, including demand generation, product marketing and corporate marketing. David has over 25 years of marketing experience, previously serving as CMO at Persado, SVP of Marketing at StrongView (now Selligent) and SVP of Sales & Marketing at Goodmail, as well as managing Collective Gain, his successful marketing consulting practice.
Aaron leads Zignal’s business and corporate development efforts, focusing on defining new opportunities, mapping ecosystems and building partnerships to achieve both strategic and measurable outcomes. Aaron brings over 16 years of experience to Zignal Labs, previously driving business and partnership development at Sprout Social, Brandwatch, Topsy and Meltwater, amongst others.
Jamie leads Zignal Lab’s people team. She is responsible for both the strategic and operational initiatives around culture, recruitment, and people engagement. Prior to Zignal, Jamie served as the Head of People, USA for Cathay Pacific Airways. She also built and led HR teams for Giant Creative Strategy (now Evoke Giant) and Perfect World Entertainment.
As Zignal’s Head of Strategy & Insights, Jennifer turns data into actionable intelligence to help brands make more informed decisions. Jen has more than 20 years of industry experience, including holding several senior executive positions at WE Communications, most recently Global COO and President Insight Analytics. Jennifer’s experience includes leading client accounts, driving agency rebranding and directing global marketing efforts.
Dale leads sales at Zignal Labs to ensure our prospective customers receive maximum value out of our products and services. He has held sales leadership roles over the past 20 years at high growth companies such as Adobe, Ensighten, Akamai, and Aggregate Knowledge. He earned an MBA and BA from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey.
Meg leads Zignal Labs’ Customer Success team, bringing our ‘Customer First’ philosophy to life. Prior to Zignal, Meg worked in the Digital Marketing space, spanning agency and technology companies across Customer Success and Business Development functions.
A veteran of three presidential campaigns, including those of President George W. Bush, Governor Mitt Romney and Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, Josh Ginsberg has applied his extensive experience in politics, PR and public affairs to a number of impactful initiatives, including co-founding Zignal Labs.
Tammy is a media innovator whose clients include some of the top media companies in the world. She is best known as the creator and executive producer of CNN’s Larry King Live.
Prior to being a Zignal Labs Board Member, Mitch was a Managing Director of Hellman & Friedman, where he sourced and oversaw portfolio investments, as well as lead the firm’s fundraising and client relations.
Michael is the Vice President of Global Business Communications at Facebook, where he runs international, monetization, corporate, internal and policy communications.
Jim is the co-founder and Chairman of Zignal Labs, Triporati, LaunchPad Central and M34 Capital. He sits on several boards including KIND Snacks, Revinate and Via.com.
Andy Ballard, Zignal Labs Vice Chairman, is the founder and managing partner of Figtree Partners, an investment firm focused on digital media; he is also the CEO and co-founder of Quad Analytix.
Tim is an English computer scientist, best known as the inventor of the World Wide Web. Among his many accomplishments, Tim founded the World Wide Web Consortium and is a Director of the World Wide Web Foundation.
Steve is a strategic counselor to business leaders and major corporations across the U.S. and global economy. Recognized as one of the top public affairs and political strategists in the country.
Christopher serves as Chairman of the Board and Chairman of the Executive Committee of the International Tennis Hall of Fame & Museum. He has held senior officer positions with Bell Atlantic and Sprint, among others.
Ben is a partner at Bully Pulpit Interactive where he is responsible for client services and new business. Over the past decade he has worked as a political operative, consultant and journalist.

John is chairman of the Institute for Large Scale Innovation. He has advised numerous nations and regions on innovation strategy and execution, including Finland, Singapore, the City of San Francisco.
Terry achieves high levels of success in both strategic and tactical areas of political campaigns and has played a senior role in the last four elections.

Lenny currently serves as the SVP, General Counsel and Secretary at Splunk. Prior to joining, Lenny served in various executive positions including President and Chief Legal Officer at Jackson Family Enterprises, Inc.
